May I ask when can we expect the long awaited (and promised) Android 4 for Adam1?
Maybe you should inform your current customers more often about the current status/progress…
Rohan, just a line of reassurance that your team is also working on a solid and stable ics ROM for adam1 will go along way in keeping the nerves in check. All I am looking for is a system that we can use day in and day out without the need to reboot and constantly worrying about the loss of data we have to endure every now and then.
AS said before I support you in the development of Adam 2 but your success is strongly linked to the success of adam1.

Waiting for it with hardware acceleration. Can you also fix sniffer’s lower portion of the app where the options & last SD/mount overlaps with ICS home bar? I love this app as its much cleaner than other file managers on market.
I doubt if it would get the same delivery time lines as the SoC/hardware is completely different

I have downloaded and installed alpha but have lost adam start up can you advise?
Will there be NI apps like sniffer, mail’d, … on ICS ?!
I know it’s a bit off topic, but when will the Adam be back in stock?

Great information! Now, that I’m waiting for more than a year for a satisfying ROM the finish-line is in view 😉
DEADROM is running already useable, some bug’s that I can live with…, very good work for an Alpha-ROM!
NI-Alpha-ICS lacks of Market, therefore I switched to DeadROM.

Dwarf4242: Thanks for your post, but a disagree on most on it. I cannot say NI communication with its custommers is bad, since there is no, nop, nada communication, except for posts from time to time on this forum.
There in absolutely zero valuable informations on notionink.com for its customers. Absolutely nothing about updates. This site is like a rock, never any change or added information, except for making disappear the FM radio from the features. Zap disappeared, these guys are good…. My Adam, with PQi screen is Android 2.2, kernel 2.6.32. The update menu in setting keeps telling me my adam is up to date ?
There is been some Honeycomb releases, bot NONE from NI meor my adam knows of, You are refering to unofficial undocumented beta releases, These releases are from outside NI developpers,
I red you installed Honnneycomb on februrary 19 it’s about time 😉
The only info a can find on this “official” NI forum, is a post updated on july 5 about how to install Honeycomb.
I will not install this not knowing where it is comming from and if it work properly from a credible source.
