Happy Diwali

Dear All,

Fortunate is the one who has learned to Admire, but not to envy!

Best Wishes for a joyous Diwali to everyone!

May the coming year be full of Ice-Cream Sandwiches 🙂 Waiting with everyone for Google to gift all of us the “Source”.

  1. Happy Deepavali all!
The good will overcome, and the light of knowledge will shine.
Hoping for a great new year for Notion Ink 🙂

  2. Hard to believe its come around again so quickly.
Seems like it was only last year that we were celebrating Diwali.
    🙂

  3. Hi Cathy, yup, back home ;(
From a sunny 32°C to a rainy 13°C. Liked the Indian Summer much more.
Life by Lime, what a sweet memory… Thanks again!

  4. Good thing you went to the Southwest then, and not PA; we’re having Netherlands weather here, without flowers 😦 And certainly no Diwali Festival! I’m going to go back to last year’s posts of all the lights in India …

  5. @Rahul

I think there was some delay in the release of ICS, and little companies like Motorola and Samsung have to comply with the Google timeline, so I suspect we could let Notion Ink alone.

Several websites listed delays for ICS and here’s another “http://www.releasedates.co/product/google-android-40-ice-cream-sandwich-release-date”.

So, considering that some things are out of Rohan’s control…

All I’m saying is take a deep breath and wait and watch. I know its frustrating.

    peaceout

  6. Rohan and team NI, Happy Diwali !!! Hoping that Google will make ICS available to all of us. Different people bought Adam for different purpose. I have still not achieved what I intended to do with Adam. ICS will be a key to that !

  7. Last year when we were trolling over this blog the Adam was not out, now we have our Adams in hand 🙂

Wish you all and NI Team a Happy Diwali and fun time with Ice cream Sandwich next year.

Rohan, Are you having Ice cream Sandwich for you Dinner this Diwali 🙂 ?

Samsung a little company! Who knew?

  9. Yeah, and Motorola, but it may be that I employed some sarcasm in my response to a message that has been subsequently moved into another time-space continuum.

  10. @Phillip

Meant no offense on Samsung a small company. Just commenting to maintain new post every 3 days.LOL

I’ll be getting my new Motorola Droid Bionic smartphone early Nov. with ver. 2.3.4 i believe.

“While the tweet posted above didn’t specify much, our very own Sean Riley has reached out to Motorola and received a more solid answer. Aside from new devices to come with ICS, Motorola has stated that 3 current ones will definitely be updated. These are the DROID RAZR, the DROID Bionic, and the Xoom.”

  11. @topspnr
    No offence taken 😀
Hey, anyone know if HTC Desire HD is in line for ICS?

  12. Flexible USB keyboard (chinese unbranded) for use with adam.

    hey all,
Came across this in singapore and got one for 20 sing dollars (about 950 INR)…It works pretty well with the adam and almost all keys get some response from adam… ..so im pretty happy with the purchase…

For those who are interested i got it at the Fairprice mart at the jookun MRT station which some also refer to as Boon Lay i think..

here is the link to conclave:

    and to tabletroms :

  13. I think I’m no longer interested in owning an Adam. Mine has never fulfilled its purpose because of broken compass functionality, and woefully short battery life. Like everyone elses, I guess.

It sits on a shelf unused for several months now. Anyone make me a good offer.

I live in the Netherlands, lets say: €300 ?

  14. Also, the Adam has been superseeded by numerous other tablets with better specs and/or superior functionality, like the Samsung 10.1 and Asus transformer, not to mention the ipad 1 and 2.

  15. Adam – The Survivor! Dropped my Adam from a height of over four feet onto flagstones. A few scrapes on the rounded edge on one side, which for someone who cares so much for aesthetics, feels like pollution. I was dumb enough to keep it on a rubbish bin…and it just fell! How could I be so careless.

  16. Hi Rohan,

did you read about the new invisible glass?
This, in combination with pixel Qi, could be the breakthrough.

    Cheers,
    Alex

  17. Read what Adobe has to say about Mobile Flash for Android Phones and Tablets. Not good.

  18. No replies, no updates 😦

If icecream won’t bring a significant change this dream might be doomed.

    This time no cheers,
    Alex
